Fishing Report for 08/30/2011
Started fishing the dock near the Fall Creek boat ramp and had a couple bites right away. Landed one little bass on a spinner but most of the bass were too small and they didn't take the whole hook. Worm and bobber would have worked out well. We moved down towards the creek inlet and saw all of the spawning kokanee. We were able to catch a couple because they were attacking our spinners and flies right away, but weren't very active and of course not taking bait (we had some corn). Reeling by about 50 of them, maybe one or two would follow but wouldn't always go for it. They lost interest after a while.
Temperature: 75 °F
Fishing Report for 07/11/2011
Fished a dark cove in the early morning with only a couple bites. Moved across the lake to the bridge around 9am and the bass were biting on worms till we left at about noon. Saw some good sized trout but they weren't biting. Hard part was hooking the bass. Had to change to a bigger hook on one rod.
Temperature: 90 °F
Fishing Report for 05/02/2011
Trolling at Anderson Ranch for kokanee/bass/trout. Had two lines on a downrigger between 10-30 ft down with pop gear/wedding rings. Had other lines in with rapalas. Kept changing depths. Water and outside temperature was very cold. Nothing was biting or jumping. Hopefully fishing will be better when temperatures warm.
