Fishing Report for 11/23/2011
I went back for Steelhead in the Boise and people are shoulder to shoulder in some holes. I tried fishing one of the main holes from top to bottom but I didn't hook up. Had a fish swim up to my feet but wouldn't take. Maybe tomorrow.
Fishing Report for 11/22/2011
Steelhead are in the Boise now and people are shoulder to shoulder in some holes. I tried fishing a little up river from all of them to keep my lines tangle free, but I didn't hook up. Maybe tomorrow.
Fishing Report for 09/04/2011
I wasn't having much luck. I used all different colors of spinners and sizes and fished multiple holes and only saw 1 fish looking at my lure and backed off. I found a pile of suckers though. I also fly fished a bit, but the area I was in gets hit pretty hard, but I've never seen too many caught here. Also there were a lot of floaters downstream and could be throwing the fish off on weekends.
Fishing Report for 07/25/2011
Stopped at the Boise River for an hour or so and caught a nice trout and missed another. The flows are back to normal and water is very clear. Can't wait to go back and put some more time in.
Fishing Report for 04/13/2011
The river flows are still coming up and will be increasing to just below flood stage by the end of the week. At about 5800 cfs. the flows will be very dangerous and for the most part not fishable. This will undoubtedly affect the fishing and limit access for fishing from shore. I would wait until things settle back down.
