Fishing Report for 07/25/2011
Second pond of the day, just down from Caldwell #1. It was pretty hot out when we got here at about 10am. We were hoping the fishing was better but we kept getting bites so we stayed a while. Saw a bunch of carp schooling but they were not biting and were hard to snag since they were over by the thick cattails. We ended up catching one bluegill and one small largemouth bass on worm and bobber before leaving. Didn't look like the guy across the pond caught anything while fishing the bottom. I assume night fishing would be better when the bugs are out.
Temperature: 90 °F
Fishing Report for 07/25/2011
Fished this pond for about 15 minutes at around 9:00am and started getting bites on worm, using a bobber. Caught some bluegill. Ended up catching ours right by the dock. Some others were fishing for catfish but had no luck. We stayed for a bit, trying to get something bigger, then moved on. The water wasn't the clearest and there were quite a few weeds.
Temperature: 85 °F
