Fishing Report for 05/18/2011
Long day on the water! I battled the wind from my kayak to fish for bass for about 7 hours with nothing more than a bite or two. Just a few days ago somebody caught a 6 lb. and an 8 lb. bass so they are out there, but they just aren't too active yet.
There were several other boats but nobody seemed to have much luck. From talking with the other fishermen it sounded like one bass was caught all day, and maybe 5 or 6 trout.
I'll keep fishing the lake though, there are some big bass in there and it should get better as the water warms up real soon here.

Fishing Report for 04/29/2011
There were a bunch of triploids stocked recently, on average 1.5 lbs. However, only one boat caught anything today. We were skunked, as was most everybody else. One other boat had 2 or 3 real nice looking trout, and I saw one more caught from shore at the boat launch as I drove away.
It might have just been a bad day, because the fish are out there. The fish were caught on Dick Nites with a worm on the hook.
