Fishing Report for 05/02/2011
Went out with 2 buddies today on Lake Howard. We got 3 small rainbows in the boat. I had 3 bites and a 4th up to the boat but somebody wasn't ready with the net and he flipped off as I tried to lift him into the boat.
The bite was good very early until 8 or 9am, then slowed down. It was raining pretty hard on us and a bit windy so we were freezing cold, but at the same time the water was very warm, much warmer in the water than out.
Troll with a black woolly bugger or a 50/50 Dick Nite with a worm on its hook. If you get bored trolling, drop a hook with powerbait and worm 4-5 feet under a bobber on the N/NE corner of the lake.
