Fishing Report for 07/18/2010
No good fishing. Cool little lake, fun to float around on, but not a lot of action. We only saw one other fishing boat, we didn't talk to them but they didn't look happy so I imagine they weren't catching much either.
I did get 2 decent bites while working a soft plastic crawdad near the lily pads at the north end of the lake, but nothing big enough to swallow the whole thing. I would recommend going over to Goodwin instead, go real deep for bigger trout, or bass is supposed to be decent as well.
