Fishing Report for 05/30/2011
I've been fishing Log Boom Park pretty hard for a few days now. There had been reports of big bass being caught there, but in all the time I was there I didn't see anything pulled out over 10 inches. Mostly just little perch, some sunfish and a trout or two.
We were trying soft plastics, worms, spinners, powerbait, not much luck. There is a school of 5 huge carp that swam under the dock every half hour, it would have been more fun to go bowfishing for them.
Fishing Report for 05/28/2011
I've been hearing reports of monster bass being caught at Log Boom Park, but I've fished it for 3 days and have only see a couple average bass pulled out. There are plenty of little perch to catch, but the bass fishing doesn't seem to be that hot.
