Fishing Report for 05/14/2011
Fished a tournament - great action! 8 fish caught (culled 6, kept the limit of 2) - although my "co-angler" left me with a bad taste in my mouth - no courtesy, piss-poor etiquette. Anyway, bass have moved up on their nests, and shallow fishing is reaching it's peak. Crankbaits caught all of the fish, and there were some aggressive bass for sure! Try crawfish colors in 4-6 feet of water, especially around boulders.

Fishing Report for 05/13/2011
Good fishing in the shallows - surprising considering the temps, but the bass have already moved up and a few have even started on nests! I worked on a HUGE largemouth for over an hour, but alas, no bites. Use crankbaits ans small creature baits in 6-8 feet of water for some great smallmouth action.
