Fishing Report for 08/12/2010
Another day, another cold front... I expected to find the bass deep and tight to cover, but they were shallow and scattered - odd. Creature and tube baits dragged slowly in 8-10 feet of water, around rocks and weeds did well. The best pattern of the day was a shad colored spinnerbait burned through weedbeds in 7-9 feet of water.

Fishing Report for 08/03/2010
Boated 2 fish, had fish on for 4 other strikes - they weren't particularly aggressive, as a cold front moved in - all of the fish had just the end of the baits in their mouths. What worked was slow presentations with tubes and creature baits - I think crankbaits and spinnerbaits were too fast for the sluggish fish. Try looking in 12-18 feet of water for the best chances of getting something to hit.
