Fishing Report for 07/07/2011

Rating: Excellent (5/5)
Fishing was good, even with a front moving in. Smallmouths were holding on rocky cover anywhere from 3 feet down to 15 feet, and Largemouths were cruising shallow cover and weeds. Try crankbaits in craw patterns on the rocks, and creature baits in green pumpkin or crawfish around the deeper and shallow cover.

Fishing Report for 08/09/2010

Rating: Good (4/5)
The bite was good - bass were in the weeds between 4 and 10 feet, hitting gold/shiner spinnerbaits, and the smallmouth were also scattered along the bottom (holding tight to rocks) in about 12-15 feet. Creature baits were working well, and I would suspect plastic worms would work as well.

Fishing Report for 07/20/2010

Rating: Excellent (5/5)
Fishing was great! Smallmouth were hitting crankbaits from 5 feet down to 15 feet, tubes on deeper humps, and I even caught a few in deeper water on nightcrawlers. The natural colors for crankbaits (shads, sunfish) were working, and the shades of watermelon/craw for the tubes were hot. Find yourself a spot that looks "fishy" and you can't not catch something!
