Fishing Report for 05/20/2011
I fished from about 10:00am to 1:30pm, it was an usually calm day with relatively no wind. I tried a number of techniques including drop shotting and jigging with frozen minnows and a number of crankbaits. The majority of my success came from twitch baits with a perch pattern over the drop off to 30 foot water. This was the first time I have caught only walleye here however I did have a few pike chase but not take. This is a a good sign seeing there has been an on going effort to maintain pressured walleye populations in southern Alberta.
