Rating: Good (4/5)
Lots of bluegills! Tried for some carp and catfish, but no luck. I tried topwaters, crankbaits, soft plastics, spinnerbaits, basically my whole arsenal, and nothing. Throw a nightcrawler or breadball out there and the bluegill hit. I was right around the dam area and saw fish surfacing about 100 yards off shore, but no luck getting to them.

Rating: Not Good (2/5)
Tried everything, from artificials to nightcrawlers to commercial carp and catfish bait. Tried the dam, and a few spots from each side and not so much as a nibble. I suspect the front moving in has something to do with it - trying again tomorrow from a small rowboat to see if anything changes.

May have been the late start, but the water was very warm and the lake edges were filled with dead/dying vegetation. Look for the areas around the dam to be the most productive, with the spinnerbait bite being on.
