It's that time of the year when the canals around here are gonna be drying up> To some people, this is an opportunity to fill the freezer. You won't have to look very far for some of the deeper pools with fish in them still. You may not even need your pole! Just a bucket and a net.

No I haven't got it yet:( We don't have many down here if at all. I caught most every species in this area and the last few shouldn't be terribly hard if the timing is right and I put a few hours in. I'm heading to Montana for a weekend and Utah for a few days and I should have at least a few new ones to check off soon!
